A new issue card appears while your team is working across projects, and the person who needs to act may not be looking at Superthread. Superthread’s Card Created trigger gives Mobile Message a direct event for a text alert. This can help a manager notice urgent work, tell a contractor that a task exists or notify a group when a board receives a new card.

Through Zapier, Card Created can start Mobile Message Send SMS, Send SMS to List, Create Contact or Add Contact to List. You can also use Mobile Message’s Inbound SMS Received trigger to start Superthread’s Create Card action, turning a texted request into a card for someone to review. The supplied Superthread action creates a card in a specified board, so map the board and task information carefully.

These are separate, one-directional automations rather than a live task sync. Keep SMS alerts short and use the card as the full source of task detail. For inbound requests, include enough context in the message to make the resulting card useful to the team.
