A shift-based team can lose time when a new shift, absence or venue event is recorded in StaffSavvy but the people affected are not looking at the system. A Zap can use those events to send a plain text message through Mobile Message. The result is a direct prompt for a worker, manager or venue contact when the roster changes.

StaffSavvy supports many operational events, including new shifts, newly assigned personal shifts, new absences and new venue events. A new shift can alert the assigned worker, while a new absence can notify a manager to arrange cover. You can also use New Account to create a Mobile Message contact when a staff record is added, then use Send SMS to deliver the relevant notice. Choose the event and recipient carefully because the Zap sends only the information and message you configure. StaffSavvy and Mobile Message connect through Zapier, not through an automatic two-way roster sync. Each workflow has one trigger and one action.
