A recorded briefing, interview or job note can sit unheard while someone waits for the important points. Speechnotes turns online audio or video recordings into text, and its Transcription Results Ready trigger can tell another workflow that the written result is available. That makes it useful when SMS needs to be sent after a transcription has finished, rather than while a recording is still being processed.

Through Zapier, Speechnotes can pass Transcription Results Ready to Mobile Message’s Send SMS, Send SMS to List, Create Contact or Add Contact to List actions. For example, a team member can receive a text saying that a transcription is ready for review. If the relevant contact details are available in the Zap, the result can also create a Mobile Message contact or add one to a list. Speechnotes can also transcribe an online recording as an action inside a larger Zap, although that action needs a preceding trigger from another app. The connection does not send audio through SMS or create a two-way transcript service. It uses the available Speechnotes event or action and a Mobile Message step to notify people in a way they can see quickly.
