A quote can be created in ShopQuotes while the customer is still waiting for an answer. If the sales team has to remember every new quote and prepare each follow-up manually, a promising opportunity can go quiet. A prompt SMS can acknowledge the quote, tell the customer what happens next or alert a salesperson to make contact.

Through Zapier, ShopQuotes can use Quote Created as the event that starts a Mobile Message action. Send SMS is suited to an individual customer or salesperson, while Send SMS to List can notify a group when quotes are reviewed centrally. The Zap can use the quote reference, customer name and selected contact details to create a useful plain text message.

The connection does not update quote stages or synchronise ShopQuotes records. It simply sends a chosen Mobile Message notification after a new quote is created. That gives your team a consistent first response and reduces the chance that a quote waits unnoticed in the system.
