HR teams using Shireburn Indigo People often work to dates that cannot be forgotten. An employee birthday, anniversary, probation end or contract expiry can require a timely reminder or message, yet those dates are easy to miss when payroll and leave tasks fill the day. An automated text puts the event in front of the right person.

With Zapier, events such as Employee Anniversary, Employee Birthday and Employee Contract Expiry can trigger Mobile Message's Send SMS action. Use the employee details supplied by Indigo People to alert HR, remind a manager or send a suitable workplace message. Employee Created can also create a contact in Mobile Message, or add that person to a list when your process calls for it.

These workflows let Indigo People remain the source of the employee event while Mobile Message handles the SMS. They are not a native two-way connection and do not automatically synchronise HR records. Configure recipients and message wording carefully, especially for confidential employment information, then test the Zap with representative data.
