Shiptheory SMS Integration

Warehouse and fulfilment teams run on Shiptheory to get orders out the door, picking the right carrier and getting a shipment booked without touching each carrier's own dashboard. Book Shipment is the action that does the booking itself, and it can be started by something other than the order system alone. Most of the automations built around Shiptheory start from an order landing somewhere else, with the booking following straight after.

Connected to Mobile Message through Zapier, a reply from a customer, say confirming their address or that they are ready to ship, can run Shiptheory's Book Shipment action there and then. It gives a fulfilment team one less manual step between a text conversation and a shipment actually being booked with the carrier. It's a narrow use case since Shiptheory itself has no events to send back out, so the shipment booking is the end point of the automation rather than the start of another one.
