Shipmondo SMS Integration

A customer who texts through an order ends up with that order sitting in Shipmondo ready for freight, without anyone re-typing item names or quantities from a phone screen into the shipping system by hand. For businesses that take orders over text as well as through a webshop, that saves a step that would otherwise land on whoever happens to be near the phone.

Mobile Message connects to Shipmondo through Zapier, so an Inbound SMS Received event, a customer's texted order, can trigger the Create Order action and start a new order in Shipmondo the moment the message arrives. The same reply can also trigger the Create Item action to add specific products to that order, keeping the shipment details in Shipmondo accurate before a draft shipment is ever put together. A Delivery Status Updated event can trigger the Update Item action too, adjusting stock or status details in Shipmondo once a confirmation text is known to have reached the customer.
