Safety coordinators need important work events to reach the right person quickly, particularly when a task has been created for lone worker operations. Safepoint provides a Task Created trigger, which can start a plain text notification in Mobile Message. That gives a nominated supervisor or team list a visible alert without requiring them to watch the Safepoint workspace continuously.

Through Zapier, Safepoint’s Task Created event can run Mobile Message’s Send SMS or Send SMS to List action. The message can contain the task information available to the Zap, such as the task reference or other mapped details, and direct the recipient to check Safepoint for the full record. Mobile Message can also create a contact or add a contact to a list if the Safepoint event includes suitable contact information. Safepoint has no listed actions, so the useful direction is from Safepoint into Mobile Message. This workflow does not replace Safepoint’s safety functions, and it does not imply that SMS replies update a task. It simply adds a clear notification step for the event you choose. Set the recipient, message content and test behaviour carefully before enabling the Zap for active work.
