Project leads and team managers often need to know about a new task or client without keeping the task platform open all day. Runrun.it manages tasks, time, performance, clients and projects, while Mobile Message can deliver selected alerts by SMS. With Zapier between the services, New Task, New Client or New Project can trigger a useful message for the person who needs to act.

New Task paired with Send SMS can notify an assignee or team lead that work has been created. New Client can also send an internal alert when a new relationship enters Runrun.it, while New Project can pair with Create Contact if the project includes someone whose details should be available in Mobile Message. Runrun.it actions can be used with Mobile Message’s Inbound SMS Received event, so a customer text could create a task when the Zap contains the required project information. These are individual one-way workflows, not a shared task and contact sync.

Set up each Zap in Zapier, map the relevant Runrun.it fields and use filters to limit alerts to meaningful work. Keep texts short enough to scan quickly, with the project or client name and the expected next action. This adds a direct notification layer while Runrun.it remains the working record.
