A new project is created in Roll just as a team begins assigning work, and the people involved may need a quick update. In a busy service business, manually copying project details into a text can delay the first customer or staff message. Through Zapier, Roll can start Mobile Message when a project, company, task or time record is created.

New Project can send an SMS to a selected recipient, while New Company can create a Mobile Message contact or add one to a list. New Task and New Time Record can also provide useful internal alerts where the available fields include a suitable recipient. Mobile Message actions include Send SMS, Create Contact and Add Contact to List.

This connection helps Roll remain the place where projects and work are managed while Mobile Message handles selected notifications. It does not synchronise both platforms or create a native integration. Each Zap watches one Roll event and performs one configured Mobile Message action through Zapier, so you can keep the workflow focused on a noticeable business outcome.
