A new card appears on a Restyaboard board while the team is away from the screen, and an important task can sit unnoticed. A Zapier workflow can react when a new card, board, list, or activity is created. Mobile Message can then send a plain-text SMS to a team member or list, making selected board events visible on a phone.

A new card can alert the person responsible for the work, while a new activity can notify a project lead that a board has changed. You can also create a Mobile Message contact from a suitable board event, or add an existing contact to a list for a defined group. Restyaboard actions can create and update cards, comments, boards, and lists, so an alternative path can use an inbound SMS to create a card when someone texts your Mobile Message number. These are separate Zapier workflows, not a two-way synchronisation.

Choose the event that reflects a real handover, rather than texting every minor board change. That keeps messages useful and gives the team a clear reason to act.
