A new subscriber joins your email list, and the next useful step is often a timely welcome message on their phone. Responder Live can notify Zapier when a subscriber is added to a list, allowing Mobile Message to send an SMS that acknowledges the sign-up or points the person towards their next step.

This can support welcome sequences, event registrations, course enrolments, or customer communications where email alone may be missed. Use the subscriber’s name and mobile number in Mobile Message’s Send SMS action, or send SMS to List when a particular subscriber event should alert a defined group. If a contact must also exist in Mobile Message, the same subscriber trigger can run Create Contact before a later SMS workflow, provided the required contact information is available.

Responder Live remains your email autoresponder platform and Mobile Message remains your SMS platform. Zapier carries the selected event from one service to the other, rather than maintaining a native or two-way integration. You decide whether the subscriber receives a welcome text, an internal notification, or both as separate Zaps.
