Resource Planner SMS Integration

A new assignment appears in Resource Planner and someone needs to know who is covering the work. Instead of checking the planning board and sending a separate message, you can use Zapier to pass that event to Mobile Message. A text can reach the assigned person with the project name, dates and any useful planning details while the information is still current.

This connection also supports messages when a new resource or new project is added. That can help coordinators welcome a team member, alert a manager that a project is ready for planning, or remind staff about an upcoming allocation. Resource Planner remains the place where capacity, projects and time off are managed, while Mobile Message handles the SMS notification. Each Zap runs in one direction, so you choose the Resource Planner event and the Mobile Message action that should follow it. It is a practical way to make important planning changes visible without asking the team to watch another screen.
