About the RemotePass integration

HR managers, payroll teams and people leaders often run RemotePass while coordinating leave across distributed teams. RemotePass can send Zapier a Time Off Approved event, giving Mobile Message a clear point to notify the employee or another selected recipient. A text can confirm the approved dates and help prevent missed handovers.

This is useful when staff need a quick notice outside the HR platform, or when managers want a consistent SMS after leave is approved. The same event could create a Mobile Message contact for a worker who is not already recorded, or add an existing contact to a list used for a relevant operational message. The workflow can include the dates and other fields available from RemotePass.

The connection is set up through Zapier, with accounts for RemotePass and Mobile Message. It is not a native integration and does not synchronise HR records in both directions. Each Zap listens for one approved leave event and performs one chosen Mobile Message action, keeping the result focused and easy to review.
