Referral teams want a new sale or affiliate to receive attention while the referral is still fresh. Referly can start a Zap when a sale is created, an affiliate joins or a new referral customer is created. Without an automatic hand-off, someone may need to copy details into a messaging list before sending the next update.

Through Zapier, Referly events can run Mobile Message’s Send SMS, Create Contact, Update Contact or Add Contact to List actions. A new affiliate can receive an onboarding text, while a new sale can notify the relevant referral contact. A referral-created event can also create a Mobile Message contact for future communication. The phone number and referral fields available in Referly determine the mapping.

Mobile Message’s Inbound SMS Received trigger can run Referly’s Create Affiliate, Create Sale or Create Referral actions. This supports a defined workflow where a text supplies the information required by Referly. The connection is not a shared referral database or two-way synchronisation. Use filters and test commission and contact fields before enabling it.
