A recognition is approved, a reward redemption is approved or a recognition enters a pending state, and employees may need a timely update. Recognize records these moments for workplace recognition and rewards, but staff can miss a dashboard notification when they are busy with other work.

Through Zapier, Recognize events can trigger Mobile Message Send SMS. Text an employee when recognition is approved, notify them when a reward redemption is approved, or alert an appropriate person when a recognition is pending. The message can include the recognition or reward details supplied by Recognize, giving the recipient a useful reason to act.

Recognize also provides Create Recognition, Add Comment and Add Reaction actions. The available Mobile Message triggers do not make a natural reverse workflow for those actions, so the practical connection sends notifications from Recognize into Mobile Message. It does not create a two-way recognition record or replace the approval process. Use clear message rules and the correct mobile number for each recipient.
