This is useful when RAPID stores the business data but SMS is the quickest way to make an event visible. The event details can be mapped into the text, such as a status, reference or contact number supplied by your RAPID workflow. Mobile Message can send an individual SMS or send SMS to List when a prepared group needs the same alert.

The connection is made through Zapier. It is a focused event-to-message workflow rather than a two-way data connection, so you choose the RAPID webhook events that deserve a text and write the message around each one.

Can RAPID Platform send an SMS after a webhook event?

Yes. RAPID Platform's Signal Event trigger can start a Zap that uses Mobile Message's Send SMS action. Map the event data into the message and provide the recipient number from the RAPID event or another Zapier field.

Can one RAPID signal notify a team?

Yes. Pair Signal Event with Send SMS to List in Mobile Message. The Zap can send the event summary to a selected Mobile Message list, which is useful for operational alerts and rotating teams.

What accounts are needed for a RAPID SMS Zap?

You need RAPID Platform, Mobile Message and Zapier accounts. Choose Signal Event in Zapier, select the Mobile Message action and test the field mapping. The setup is no-code, although your RAPID site must fire the relevant webhook event.
