Botcake SMS Integration

Businesses running automated chat sequences on Messenger, Instagram or WhatsApp use Botcake to move a customer through a flow of messages without anyone sitting at a keyboard watching every conversation unfold. The chatbot handles the back and forth end to end, but a flow that only lives inside chat misses the customer who has gone quiet there and is instead sitting in their SMS inbox waiting to hear back from someone.

Mobile Message can hand Botcake a reason to start that flow even when the customer never opens the chat app again. A reply by SMS can trigger a Botcake flow aimed at moving that customer further along, and a text message that fails to deliver can trigger a different flow reaching the same person on another channel instead of losing them altogether and writing off the sale.

The connection runs through Zapier, so nothing already built in Botcake needs to change and no existing flow has to be rebuilt from scratch. It simply gives a chat automation platform a trigger it would not otherwise have, an SMS event, so replies and delivery problems that happen outside Messenger still get picked up by a flow designed to handle exactly that situation.
