About the ProAbono integration

Subscription teams using ProAbono can keep customers informed when billing records change, without asking staff to check every account manually. ProAbono can send events related to an invoice, subscription, customer, payment method or credit note into a Zapier workflow. Mobile Message can then send an SMS, create a contact or add a contact to a list.

An invoice event could prompt a payment or billing notice, while a subscription event could remind a customer that their service has started or changed. A customer event can create a Mobile Message contact for future service communications. These workflows are most useful when the ProAbono event includes a reliable mobile number and the message is written for that particular event. The connection uses Zapier, so your team chooses which event should matter and maps its fields into Mobile Message. ProAbono actions are available for workflows that start elsewhere, but they do not create a general two-way sync with Mobile Message. Each Zap performs one defined action when its selected event occurs.
