An installer may be waiting for a payment or proposal decision while the relevant status changes inside Portal.io. Portal aggregates product data, pricing, proposals, payments and purchase orders, while Mobile Message can send a prompt when an order, proposal or payment status changes. This removes the need for a manual chase through the portal.

This connection runs through Zapier. Update Payment Status can trigger Send SMS to a customer or accounts contact, and Update Proposal Status can trigger Send SMS to List for the sales team. Update Order Status can also send a customer-facing progress message, while Contact Modification can alert staff that contact information has changed. Portal.io remains the place where the installer manages the commercial workflow, and Mobile Message sends the selected notification. Each Zap can be limited to the status that matters, with the available Portal.io details mapped into a clear text. That makes important decisions more visible while avoiding messages for every routine portal activity.
