Paytm Payment Gateway SMS Integration

Subscription businesses and merchants running recurring billing through Paytm spend a fair amount of time on requests that arrive by text instead of through a dashboard, a customer asking for a payment link, wanting a refund processed, or asking to pause a plan for a month. Mobile Message connects to Paytm Payment Gateway through Zapier, turning an inbound text into the trigger for whichever Paytm action the message calls for.

A customer who texts asking to pay can have a payment link created in Paytm without a staff member logging in to generate one manually, and the same inbound message trigger can create a refund when someone texts asking for money back on an order that did not work out. Both run off Mobile Message's Inbound SMS Received trigger, so the text itself is what starts the Paytm action rather than a form or a call.

Subscription management follows the same pattern, a text asking to cancel can trigger Paytm to cancel the subscription outright, and a request to pause or restart billing can trigger the pause or resume subscription action instead. None of this needs the customer to log into an account or wait on hold, the reply they already sent is what Zapier passes through to Paytm.
