PayPlus SMS Integration

Yes - Mobile Message does integrate with PayPlus!

A payment team can have a successful charge appear in PayPlus while the customer is still waiting for confirmation. PayPlus events such as New Charge, New Invoice and New Approval can start a Zap that sends an SMS through Mobile Message. This gives customers a timely payment message and reduces the need for staff to watch the payment screen.

New Charge is the clearest fit for a receipt-style notification, while New Invoice can prompt a payment reminder or direct the customer to your chosen next step. New Approval indicates that funds are held but not charged, so the SMS wording should describe an approval rather than claim that payment is complete. Mobile Message can send the message to one recipient or to a list when an internal team needs notice.

The connection is made through Zapier and is not a native payment synchronisation. PayPlus and Mobile Message accounts are required. Before launch, test amounts, customer numbers and the distinction between approval, invoice and charge so each message is accurate.

Can PayPlus send an SMS when a charge succeeds?

Yes. PayPlus's New Charge trigger can run Mobile Message's Send SMS action in Zapier. Use the successful charge details and the customer's mobile number to create a confirmation message that is sent after the charge event.

Can I text customers when a PayPlus invoice is created?

Yes. New Invoice can trigger Send SMS. The message can advise the customer that an invoice exists and include the relevant details available to the Zap. Check the mapped fields before sending live messages.

How do I connect PayPlus payment events to Mobile Message?

Choose New Charge, New Invoice or New Approval in Zapier, then add the appropriate Mobile Message action. No code is needed, although both accounts must be connected and your tests should distinguish approvals from completed charges.
