Partial.ly SMS Integration

A customer opens a payment plan, an instalment is coming up, or a payment fails, and the next message can affect whether the plan stays on track. Partial.ly provides triggers for payment plan activity, including an upcoming instalment, a failed payment, a default, an abandoned checkout, and a fully paid plan. Mobile Message can deliver timely SMS reminders and confirmations from those events.

Use Zapier to send an instalment reminder before a payment is due, alert a customer when a payment fails, or confirm that a payment plan has been fully paid. A cancelled or defaulted plan can notify an internal team member so someone can decide on the next step. Partial.ly’s Create a Payment Plan action can also be started by Mobile Message’s Inbound SMS Received trigger if a customer’s text is the chosen signal to begin a plan workflow. Its Update a Payment Plan action may be useful from that same inbound event when the message contains the required details. These are individual Zapier automations, not a native two-way integration or a continuous billing sync. Test the timing, amount fields, and recipient mapping before using the SMS workflow for live payment communication.
