Padlet SMS Integration

A class or project group is waiting for an important Padlet post, but not everyone is watching the board at the right moment. A Zap can watch Post Published and use Mobile Message Send SMS to alert selected participants when a new post appears. The message can identify the board and point people back to the relevant activity.

Padlet also provides Post Update and Board Updated triggers. These can be useful for notifying a coordinator when shared information changes, or for sending a reminder that a board has been refreshed. Post Deleted can notify an administrator when content has been removed and needs checking. Choose only the events that matter, so SMS remains a useful alert rather than another stream of noise.

Padlet actions such as Publish Post and Create Board can be started by Mobile Message’s Inbound SMS Received when there is a genuine need to turn a text into a board action. Most teams will get the clearest result from Padlet triggers followed by Send SMS. The connection is configured in Zapier, with Padlet and Mobile Message accounts connected and the available fields mapped into the message.
