An appointment appears in Orufy Bookings while the day’s schedule is already filling up. The customer needs a clear confirmation, and your team may need a reminder that the booking has changed. Sending those notices manually takes attention away from the appointment itself. A Zapier connection can pass Orufy Bookings events to Mobile Message for timely SMS communication.

New Appointment can send a confirmation with the appointment details. Appointment Rescheduled can alert the customer to the new time, while Appointment Canceled can send a cancellation notice or notify the person responsible for follow-up. Orufy Bookings supplies triggers only, so Mobile Message handles the SMS action. These workflows are one-directional and do not update Orufy Bookings from a reply. Choose the trigger that matches your process, map the customer’s mobile number and booking fields, and keep the wording concise enough to read quickly.
