Project leaders often discover a plan change only after the people responsible for the next step have started work. OnePlan can trigger a Zap when a plan is updated or a step changes, giving Mobile Message a clear event to act on. This can remove the manual chase for approval news, milestone changes and other updates that need attention outside the project platform.

A Plan Updated event can send a concise SMS to a responsible person or configured list. Step Changed can do the same when work moves into a new stage. Mobile Message can also add a contact to a list when a OnePlan event identifies someone who should receive future project notices. The text should explain the change and point the recipient back to the relevant process or system.

If an inbound SMS is a suitable approval signal, Mobile Message can start OnePlan’s Step Approve action. That is a separate, deliberately designed Zap path, not an automatic two-way update. Zapier connects the selected event and action, while your team controls who can approve and what values are accepted.
