Schedulers, consultants and service teams often need to tell people about booking changes before anyone has time to open the calendar. Novacal can send a Zapier trigger when an event is booked, rescheduled or cancelled. Mobile Message can use that event to send a plain-text SMS to the attendee or another chosen contact.

A booked event can produce a confirmation, while a rescheduled event can carry the new time and a cancelled event can provide a clear notice. These messages help reduce missed appointments and give customers useful information at the moment the calendar changes. The connection runs through Zapier, so you choose the Novacal event, map its available booking fields and select the Mobile Message action. It is not a native calendar synchronisation or a two-way update. Each Zap has one trigger and one action, which keeps the message rule easy to inspect and change as your scheduling process develops.
