MVP One SMS Integration

Maintenance work is easier to keep moving when the people responsible know that a purchase request, work order or purchase order has entered the system. MVP One can start a Mobile Message notification from each of those events, giving maintenance managers a direct way to alert a contractor, site contact or internal team member. The message can confirm that a work order has been logged or prompt someone to act on a new purchase order.

A Zap can use New PR, New WO or New PO as its trigger and then send an SMS, send SMS to a list or create a contact in Mobile Message. This makes the result visible outside the CMMS for people who are away from their desk or do not check every new record immediately. MVP One continues to hold the maintenance record, while Mobile Message delivers the text selected for that event. The connection is set up through Zapier, where you map phone numbers and relevant asset or order details into the SMS fields. You can keep the wording focused on the action required, such as reviewing a work order, approving a request or checking a purchase order. This is a useful notification layer for maintenance operations that need prompt attention without promising a two-way record update.
