The New or Updated Projects trigger can notify a wider group when project details move forward. Mobile Message can also create a contact or add a freelancer to a list when Mertzcrew provides a suitable number. Mertzcrew’s Create or Update Project and Create or Update Assignment actions are useful when another app starts a workflow, but this page’s strongest practical use is sending a message from Mertzcrew events. Include the event name, venue, date, call time and contact instructions in plain text. Zapier passes the selected event into Mobile Message, rather than creating a native two-way integration. Changes made in one service do not automatically update the other. Test each event with sample project and assignment data so the right person receives the right production information.
