Lucid Meetings SMS Integration

A meeting can finish with action items that need attention before the next scheduled session. Teams using Lucid Meetings may want to acknowledge a new action item, remind a participant when an online meeting starts or create a meeting record from an incoming request. Without an automation, someone has to notice the event and pass the details to another system.

Through Zapier, Lucid Meetings triggers can start Mobile Message actions. New Meeting Started can send an SMS to a participant, New Action Item can send a task reminder, and New Meeting Scheduled can create a Mobile Message contact or send a preparation message when the required number is available. You can also use Mobile Message’s Inbound SMS Received trigger with Lucid Meetings’ Create Action Item action, turning a texted request into an item in a selected room when the information supplied is sufficient. Each workflow is configured separately, with one trigger and one action. This is not a two-way synchronisation between the platforms. It is a practical way to make selected meeting events visible by text while Lucid Meetings remains the place where meetings, rooms and action items are managed.
