A driver changes a stop status while a customer is waiting for a delivery or service update. Locate2u can pass that Stop Status Change event through Zapier to Mobile Message, so the customer receives a plain text update without the office checking the route screen and making a manual call.

The status event can trigger Send SMS with a suitable update, such as confirmation that a stop is underway or that the visit has progressed. You can include the order, shipment or stop information supplied by Locate2u, along with the customer's mobile number. A separate workflow can create a Mobile Message contact when your process needs the recipient saved for future messages.

Locate2u also offers actions such as Update Stop and Create Order. An inbound SMS can start one of those actions if the message contains the details required by your workflow. This remains a set of one-directional Zaps, not a native two-way integration or ongoing route synchronisation.
