A business that receives faxes through HumbleFax may need to alert someone before the next office check. New Fax can mark the arrival of a customer form, order or other faxed information. Sent Fax Completed can also confirm that an outgoing fax has finished, which helps staff know when to continue with the next task.

Through Zapier, either HumbleFax event can trigger Mobile Message’s Send SMS action. Text an administrator when a new fax arrives, or notify a colleague when a sent fax is completed. If a staff member replies by SMS, Mobile Message’s Inbound SMS Received event can trigger HumbleFax’s Send Fax action when the necessary fax details are available in the workflow.

This connection uses the events and actions supplied by both services. It does not send fax content inside an SMS or maintain a shared status record. Instead, it gives your team a clear text notification or a defined fax action at the point where it is useful.
