A field technician completes a job and the customer is waiting to know what happens next. Hellotracks records the job status, but a dispatcher may be handling several crews and miss the update. A Mobile Message SMS can tell the customer that work is complete, alert the office when a new job arrives or provide a prompt when a job changes.

Completed Job is a natural trigger for a customer-facing completion message. New Job can notify a dispatcher or create a contact in Mobile Message, while Updated Job can alert a list when assignment or status information changes. The Mobile Message options include Send SMS, Send SMS to List, Create Contact and Add Contact to List. You can map job and customer fields supplied by Hellotracks into the message.

The connection operates through Zapier, with Hellotracks starting the workflow and Mobile Message carrying out the selected action. It is useful for specific job notifications, but it does not automatically synchronise the field service system and SMS platform in both directions.
