The host is seating one group when another GoTable reservation changes. Without a prompt, an updated booking can be missed, leaving staff with an outdated time or guest count. GoTable supplies New Reservation and Updated Reservation events so restaurant teams can act on the latest booking information.

With GoTable connected to Mobile Message through Zapier, a new reservation can send a confirmation to the guest or an alert to the floor team. An updated reservation can produce a text with the changed details, helping staff prepare for timing, numbers or other information included in the event. Mobile Message sends the SMS while GoTable remains the reservation source.

You can use separate Zaps for new and updated reservations and tailor each message to the recipient. This is not a two-way reservation sync, and it does not change bookings in GoTable. It simply turns the selected GoTable event into a prompt people can notice quickly.
