GoBrunch SMS Integration

Coaches, community leads and workshop hosts who run regular sessions on GoBrunch spend a lot of time getting people into the room before things start. A signup link buried in an email often gets ignored, and by the time a host manually adds a latecomer, the session is already under way and attention has moved on to whoever showed up on time.

Zapier can connect Mobile Message to GoBrunch so a text message becomes the registration itself. When someone texts your Mobile Message number to join a session, the Register to Space action can create and register that person in the event straight away, with no separate form for them to fill in and no host copying names across by hand between two different screens.

For hosts running recurring sessions, that turns a phone number into a working door list. Anyone who has the number can text in and pick up a spot, and the host doesn't need to check a signup sheet before starting. Because SMS is plain text, the whole exchange stays simple, a message in and a registration out, with nothing else for the person joining to install, download or fill in before the session begins.
