A Zapier connection to Mobile Message can turn those project events into plain-text SMS alerts for the people who need them.

Use New or Updated Task/Milestone as the starting point for a message to a site manager, contractor or client. You can include the project name, task detail, changed status and due date in the SMS, giving the recipient a quick prompt to check GenieBelt. This is useful for urgent work, approaching milestones or changes that affect the next team on site. The message is sent through Mobile Message, while GenieBelt remains the place where tasks and milestones are managed. Set filters in Zapier so routine edits do not create unnecessary texts, and reserve alerts for changes that genuinely need attention.
