Gather SMS Integration

A new Gather meeting recording becomes available after a session, and a facilitator may want to tell attendees where to find the follow-up or remind a team member to review it. Without an automated step, someone has to notice the recording, locate the right contact and prepare a message manually. Gather's New Meeting Recording trigger can start a Mobile Message SMS through Zapier.

Mobile Message can send an SMS to a participant or colleague, create a contact from the supplied details or add someone to a list for future communication. The recording event can therefore support a simple follow-up process, such as notifying an internal group that the recording is ready or acknowledging a completed session. Gather has no listed actions, so the useful direction is from Gather into Mobile Message. This does not transfer the recording itself or create a two-way meeting record. The Zap can only use the event data and fields that Gather makes available. Set up the workflow in Zapier, select the Mobile Message action, map the recipient and text, then test it before relying on the notification for regular team work.
