Teams that use Freedcamp to organise projects, tasks and discussions can put important work changes in front of the right person by SMS. Freedcamp offers triggers including Task Assigned to Me, New Comment, Task Completed and New Project Created. A Zapier workflow can send a plain text Mobile Message when one of these events needs attention outside the project workspace.

Text a team member when a task is assigned, notify a manager when a task is completed, or alert a project contact when a discussion comment is added. Mobile Message’s Inbound SMS Received trigger can also start Freedcamp actions such as Create Task or Add Comment, giving a text reply a visible place in the project record.

Use filters to reserve messages for urgent tasks, selected projects or particular assignees. Field mapping lets you include the task name, project and sender information available to the Zap. This is a practical notification route rather than a complete project synchronisation, so each workflow should have one clearly defined event and result.
