A restaurant or catering team can spend too much time chasing order changes, event updates and customer details across daily operations. Flex Catering provides event triggers for orders, events, customers, products and invoices, so a selected business moment can produce a prompt message instead of waiting for a manual check. This is useful when timing affects preparation, service and customer expectations.

Through Zapier, Order Events can trigger Mobile Message's Send SMS, while Event Events can notify a catering coordinator or customer about a change. Customer Events can create a Mobile Message contact, and Consolidated Invoice Events can alert an accounts contact or list. The available event data determines which names, dates and order details can be included in the message.

These Zaps are one-directional. They do not synchronise Flex Catering with Mobile Message or update catering records from an SMS. Flex Catering remains the operational system for orders, menus, customers and production, while Mobile Message sends selected alerts and manages contact actions. Review consent and recipient details before enabling customer messages.
