Freelancers, indie makers and small teams using EnkiTask can turn a newly created task into a clear SMS reminder or hand-off. A New Task event can start Mobile Message’s Send SMS action, which is useful when a customer, contractor or team member needs to know that work has been logged. It can also create a contact for future messages.

The connection runs through Zapier, with EnkiTask providing the event and Mobile Message handling the customer-facing result. A task title, due information or assigned person can be placed into a plain-text message, subject to the fields available in the task event. This means the right person can receive a timely update without someone watching the task list and copying details.

Mobile Message’s inbound SMS event can run EnkiTask’s Create Task action as well. A text from a customer or colleague can become a visible task for the team to review. These are individual Zaps, not a native two-way sync, so design each one around a specific notification or task process.
