A maintenance request becomes a work order while a technician is already managing another asset. The team needs the right information quickly, especially when a new job has been created or its status changes. Energos can start a Zap from those events, and Mobile Message can send a plain-text SMS to a technician, supervisor or operational list.

New Request can notify a service team that an issue has entered the system. New Work Order can send the job details to the people who need to act, while Work Order Status Change can alert a stakeholder that progress has moved. Mobile Message supports individual SMS, SMS to a list, contact creation and contact updates, so the workflow can also prepare a recipient for later communication.

Energos includes a Create Work Order action as well. An inbound SMS can trigger that action when a text contains information that your configured Energos workflow can accept. These are separate one-way Zaps rather than a native two-way connection. Setup is completed in Zapier with Energos and Mobile Message accounts, and the fields in each message should be tested against the information your team actually needs.
