A new drone job is created, but the pilot or operations lead may not see it until they return to the project workspace. DroneBundle can start a Zap when a new job is created, allowing Mobile Message to send a plain-text SMS with the assignment or next action. That removes a manual chase at the point when a job first needs attention.

New Project can also trigger a notification when a project begins, while Project Updated can alert the team to a significant change if the Zap is filtered appropriately. Mobile Message’s Send SMS action handles the text through Zapier. The connection does not alter DroneBundle projects or jobs from an SMS and does not provide a two-way operational sync. It simply moves selected DroneBundle events to a phone notification.

Use the fields available in the event to include the project or job name, timing and relevant contact details. Filters in Zapier can keep routine updates from generating unnecessary messages, so the team receives alerts that support safe and organised field work.
