A site supervisor may be preparing tomorrow’s crew while new assets, sites and personnel are being added to Dispatcher. Important contact details can easily remain inside the resource management system until someone remembers to copy them into a messaging list. That delay makes it harder to notify the right people about operational changes or keep a new site contact informed.

Through Zapier, Dispatcher events can start Mobile Message actions. A new site can create a contact, a new supplier can add a contact to a chosen list, and new internal personnel can receive an SMS containing the next instruction. You can also use Mobile Message’s inbound SMS trigger to create a site contact in Dispatcher when a person texts in, provided the required Dispatcher fields are available. This is not a native two-way connection. Each Zap has one trigger and one action, with the selected fields mapped between the two services. For construction operators, that can reduce repeated data entry and put time-sensitive messages closer to the event that caused them, while Dispatcher remains the system for resource and site records.
