Backstage coordinators running a dance recital are juggling a lot at once, dozens of dancers moving between dressing rooms, parents asking where their child is meant to be, and a show schedule that cannot slip once the curtain goes up.

Check In Pointe is where all of that gets tracked. A studio sets up a new show with the Add New Show action, adds the groups performing in it with Add a Group, assigns a dressing room to each one, and adds each dancer as they are registered, so backstage staff always know who should be where and when. Once curtain time is close, the Get Missing Dancers List for Show action shows exactly who has not checked in yet, which matters far more once the lights are down and a routine is about to start without its full cast.

Mobile Message connects to Check In Pointe through Zapier, though the automation only runs one way for now, from a text message into Check In Pointe rather than the other direction. A parent texting in a last-minute dancer signup on show day can have that dancer added straight away, saving a staff member from typing it in by hand between everything else happening backstage.
