A task appears in Chaser while your team is already moving between conversations, meetings and customer work. If the task is important, waiting for someone to notice it in the channel can create a missed handover. A Zapier connection to Mobile Message can send a direct SMS when Chaser creates a new task, giving a nominated person a clear prompt at the moment work is assigned.

The core workflow pairs Chaser’s New Task trigger with Mobile Message’s Send SMS action. The message can include the task title, channel or other details supplied by Chaser, so the recipient knows what needs attention without opening another workspace. For broader operational alerts, the same trigger can use Send SMS to List and notify a selected Mobile Message list. This is useful for urgent tasks, on-call work or customer follow-up.

Chaser’s Send Task action can also be started by Mobile Message’s Inbound SMS Received trigger when a text should create a task in the specified channel. Set the Zap’s fields and rules carefully so the resulting task is meaningful. The connection is configured through Zapier and is not a native two-way integration.
