For example, a transaction that represents an important stock change can send an SMS to a warehouse manager using Mobile Message Send SMS. If the transaction relates to a customer or supplier whose number is available in the event data, the same trigger can create a contact or add that person to a Mobile Message list. These actions give the event a visible result without requiring staff to watch BoxHero continuously.

Can BoxHero text a manager about a new transaction?

Yes. BoxHero’s New Transaction trigger can start a Zap, and Mobile Message Send SMS can deliver the alert. Map the transaction details into the message and select the manager’s number. The workflow responds to new transactions and does not monitor unrelated inventory changes.

Can a BoxHero transaction create a Mobile Message contact?

It can, provided the New Transaction event contains the contact information you want to use. Pair that trigger with Mobile Message Create Contact in Zapier. You can also use Add Contact to List when the transaction should place someone into a particular messaging group.

How do I set up BoxHero SMS alerts with Mobile Message?

Choose BoxHero’s New Transaction trigger in Zapier, then select a Mobile Message action and map the available fields. You need both accounts to authorise the Zap. The setup is handled through Zapier and requires no programming.
