A service request moves from created to work started, completed or closed while your operations team is managing several jobs. Boombirds records the change, but the customer or assigned worker may not see it at the right moment. Manual status calls and messages can add work precisely when the process is busiest.

Through Zapier, Boombirds’ Get Service Request Details trigger can start Mobile Message’s Send SMS action. A status change can produce a customer update, a reminder for a technician or an internal alert. Mobile Message can also create a contact when an inbound SMS introduces a customer who is not yet in your records.

This gives service operations a simple way to make selected request milestones visible by text. You decide which Boombirds status should matter and what information belongs in the SMS. The workflow does not attempt to mirror records between platforms. It turns a specific service request event into a message, or a reply into a contact that the team can review.
