Biztera records the approval request, but a message can help the relevant decision-maker notice it promptly. With Zapier, an Approval Request Created event can trigger a Mobile Message SMS with the essential request details.

The same approach can notify a requester when an approval request is approved or denied. Mobile Message's Send SMS action can use the recipient's mobile number and mapped information from Biztera, such as the request name, organisation or decision. This gives the people involved a clear text alert while Biztera continues to hold the approval record and its history.

Biztera also offers Create Approval Request, but the most useful connection for immediate communication is from a Biztera approval event to Mobile Message. The workflow is one-directional for each Zap. It does not make approval decisions, update Biztera from an SMS or create a two-way approval system.
