A shopper signs up to hear when a sold-out product returns. The request is useful only if the customer hears about availability at the right time. If the team relies on a report or manually checks notification records, the customer may find the product elsewhere before anyone follows up.

Through Zapier, Back in Stock’s Customer Signup trigger can start Mobile Message Send SMS. The message can confirm that the request was recorded or provide the product name and expected next step. Notification Sent can also start a text when Back in Stock reports that its notification has been sent, giving a staff member a visible record of the event. The connection uses the events supplied by Back in Stock and the SMS action supplied by Mobile Message. It does not create stock data or promise availability that the source app has not confirmed.
