Task Closed can also trigger a completion message, and New Project can notify a project contact when work begins. If a customer replies by SMS, Mobile Message’s Inbound SMS Received trigger can create an ActiveCollab comment on a task, giving the project team a visible place to review the response. This is a deliberate workflow, not a two-way sync between systems.
Useful combinations include New Task with Send SMS, Task Closed with Send SMS and Inbound SMS Received with Add Comment to Task. Map only the fields your ActiveCollab and Mobile Message accounts provide, then test each message before using it for live project work.

Yes. ActiveCollab’s New Task trigger can run Mobile Message’s Send SMS action. Include task information and the mapped recipient number so the assigned person receives a useful alert.
Can an inbound SMS become an ActiveCollab task comment?
Yes. Use Mobile Message’s Inbound SMS Received trigger with ActiveCollab’s Add Comment to Task action. The workflow can place the received text on a selected task when the required task information is mapped.
